Ovarian/Uterine/Cervical

Ovarian/Uterine/Cervical

Ovarian cancer forms in the tissues of the ovary. Aside from skin cancers, it is the ninth most common cancer in women and the American Cancer Society estimates that over 15,000 women will die from ovarian cancer in 2011 alone. Uterine cancer, however, is indeed the most common cancer of the female reproductive organs and 46,000 women will be diagnosed with this terrible cancer in 2011. There is a 1 in 40 chance that a woman will develop uterine cancer in her lifetime.

The death rate from cervical cancer is declining 3% every year and can be attributed to increased use of the Pap test. This section is dedicated to providing advice from survivors and proving that you can defeat these cancers.
